The Arts of Courage Project, ACP, mission is to create an empowering opportunity for cancer survivors to express themselves artistically. We seek to showcase the many facets of survivorship and the courage it takes to express oneself in such a way. Through our three evolving channels - Art Auctions, Yoga, and Cards of Courage - we strive to give back to the tremendous community of survivors by leading by example, with courage.
The Arts of Courage Project objective is simple: pass it on. Now almost 6 years cancer free, I have a deep desire to give back to an incredibly supportive community of cancer warriors. Combining my expertise and training in art, marketing, along with my own fight against cancer, I am following my passions and using them with the hopes of giving back.
ACP's latest endeavor includes Cards of Courage. Printed on premium environmentally-friendly stock, these blank 5"x5" cards feature my original illustrations and come with a matching envelope. They come in packs of 10 and 20, and may also be purchased individually. Each card design has been named, as they are dedicated to the many inspirational women in my life. Via of The Arts of Courage Project, ACP, a portion of the proceeds from their sales will be shared with charitable organizations supporting those affected by cancer.

Producing events and art shows, The Arts of Courage Project, ACP showcases donated original art through silent auctions. We seek artists that have had to dig deep and find courage above and beyond daily life. An autobiography describing the art and how it relates to courage is requested upon submittal.
ACP also curates and sells artwork independent of these events. Ultimately, the funds raised from all sales are donated to charitable organizations supporting those affected by cancer. If you would like to participate and submit your original artwork, then please click here.
Along with those seeking to begin or evolve their yoga practice, I am available to work one-on-one with cancer survivors/co-survivors as they navigate their way through diagnosis and recovery. Combining my formal yoga training, personal health history and life experiences, I am able to offer first-hand knowledge and a deep level of appreciation to clients. From each session, I donate a portion of my earnings to The Arts of Courage Project, ACP. For more information or to book your first session, please click here.
One Sanskrit word for courage is SAURYA, the courage of an ordinary person who lives with hard choices without flinching. When our dear friend Maya, 14, was diagnosed with cancer for a third time, I created this original mono print for her. Maya's artwork "Bee Happy" was the first donation we received for our inaugural event, and it was the most sought after auction item that evening. Maya epitomized courage, and she is loved and missed dearly everyday.
